   The "Winemaker's Thali" - NOT on the regular menu. India's FIRST vineyard restaurant (opened 2007) created this for insiders. At Rasa Restaurant, Sula Vineyards, ask to be seated overlooking the vines and tell your server: "I heard there's a Winemaker's Thali?" Watch their face light up. It has off-menu wine pairings.

   Wine with spicy Indian curry - every sommelier said IMPOSSIBLE. The chef proved them wrong. Order Dindori Shiraz + lamb biryani at your table. Taste the Shiraz FIRST. Then the biryani. Then the Shiraz again. Notice how it CUTS through the heat instead of fighting it.
