   Machhapuchhre (6,993m) - the sacred Fishtail peak. Climbing it is FORBIDDEN by Nepali law. No one has stood on top since 1957. It's ILLEGAL to even try. At Vrikshya Cafe rooftop "cheese and wine area" (lakeside Pokhara, 5-6 PM), book the rooftop terrace and watch the forbidden peak glow pink at sunset. You're toasting a mountain that will NEVER have a summit photo.

   Count Three of Humanity's 14 Ultimate Peaks

   Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Manaslu (8,163m). Three of the only 14 mountains above 8,000m - visible from your WINE GLASS. At any rooftop bar with Annapurna views (clear morning), ask staff to point out each one. These peaks have killed hundreds of climbers. You're drinking wine while looking at three of Earth's deadliest mountains.

   The Annapurna range reflected PERFECTLY in the lake. The same mountains that kill climbers, appearing upside-down in perfect peace. At Phewa Lake shore (6-7 AM before boats break the stillness), find a lakeside café, order breakfast, sit in silence. Mountains above AND below you. The stillness won't last - boats wake up by 8 AM.
