This opened in 2022 as an architectural marvel - a glass-and-steel circular room built specifically to showcase large-format bottles. Below the main Hospiz Alm restaurant in St. Christoph (1,850m), book the cellar tour in advance (+43 5446 3625). They'll walk you through bottles worth more than cars — the Wine Dome entrance is through the restaurant.

   Dine at Europe's Highest 3-Toque Restaurant

   Chef David Kurz holds 3 Gault & Millau toques for French-inspired alpine cuisine. Truffle features heavily. The wine list runs 100+ pages with cellar exclusives. In the main dining room at Hospiz Alm, book dinner (from 7pm) at least 2 weeks ahead in peak season and request the table with the best mountain view — staff will understand. Tell them you want to explore the cellar list, not just the standard menu.

   Stand Where Skiing Was Organized (1901)

   On January 3, 1901, six friends stopped for lunch here after skiing from St. Anton. Over food and wine, they spontaneously founded the Ski Club Arlberg - now 9,000+ members, 83 Olympic/World Championship medals, and arguably the most influential ski club in history. The original guest book entry is still readable. Walk into the Arlberg Hospiz Hotel lobby (next door to the restaurant - originally Hotel Hospiz where the Ski Club Arlberg was founded) and ask to see the historic guestbook display.
