The Kitzloch is Austria's most legendary après-ski bar - a bass-thumping, table-dancing institution that defined the "Ibiza of the Alps" reputation. Wine exists here, but the experience is about the controlled chaos of Austrian après-ski at its most extreme.

Enter the Kitzloch from the slopes (ski-in entrance). Grab a table before 3pm or you'll stand. Order Austrian wine by the bottle — in the chaos, glasses get knocked. The DJ starts at 2pm and by 4pm the tables ARE the dancefloor.
This bar made global headlines in March 2020 as one of Europe's first superspreader locations. The Austrian government faced lawsuits from 6,000 tourists. The bar is now legendary for a very different reason.
Leave via the ski-out (not the village exit). The run to the Pardatschgratbahn gondola is a gentle blue — manageable even after the Kitzloch experience. The classic Ischgl loop: ski, party, ski home.
