Drive from Grindelwald via Lötschberg tunnel (90 min) and arrive 5 minutes early to meet the woman who earned that perfect score through obsessive attention to terroir and tradition.

   Taste the Grain Noble

   Her legendary Grain Noble dessert wine earned the 100 points that made her Switzerland's most celebrated winemaker. Ask to taste it last during your session — it's €80-150/bottle but you can usually taste before buying. The wine represents everything Marie-Thérèse believes about Valais terroir concentrated into liquid poetry.

Ask Marie-Thérèse to show you the original vineyard block behind the cellar. Touch the vines, ask about her grandmother, and listen to the story of how a woman built this legacy through generations of devotion to the land.
