   Take Train to Kleine Scheidegg

   Take train from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg (35-40 min via Eigergletscher). Sit on LEFT side for Eiger North Face views during ascent. The reveal happens 10 minutes before arrival as you round the curve below Fallboden.

   Secure Terrace Table Facing Nordwand

   Exit train, walk to main building sun terrace. Arrive 11:30am-12pm for best light on north face. Grab table facing the Eiger North Face. Telescopes are bolted to the railing on the left side of the terrace.

   Order Röstizza + Swiss Wine

   Order Röstizza (rösti-pizza hybrid, local invention) or Jungfrau Bratwurst from grill, plus Swiss Pinot Noir or Chasselas wine by glass. This is exactly what spectators ate and drank while watching the 1938 first ascent.

   Scan Wall for Climbers Through Telescope

   Ask bartender to show you how to use the telescope. Scan the Eiger North Face for climbers - look for colored dots on the White Spider ice field (upper third of face, spider-shaped white ice). If you spot climbers, watch for 5-10 minutes while sipping wine.
