Le Rouge is Verbier's iconic après-ski institution where ski boots meet champagne and the world's best freeriders celebrate alongside hedge fund managers. The outdoor terrace explodes from 3pm with DJs, dancing, and surprisingly good Valais wine selections.

Arrive at Le Rouge by 3pm for a terrace spot. Order Valais wine (Petite Arvine or Cornalin) instead of champagne to drink local. The DJ starts at 3:30pm — the mix of pro skiers and hedge fund managers is Verbier in a glass.
Verbier is Europe's freeride capital. The Xtreme Verbier competition happens on the Bec des Rosses face visible from the terrace. Ski culture and wine culture merge here more naturally than anywhere in the Alps.
Continue to Place Centrale. The Pub Mont Fort (since 1973) and Farinet (named after a counterfeiter hanged in 1880) form Verbier's après-ski triangle. Each venue has a distinct wine list.
