   During the vineyard tour, ask your guide to stop at the edge of a vine row. Kneel down and touch the soil. It's black volcanic tuff from Vesuvius eruptions. This soil is why Lacryma Christi has minerality found nowhere else. Romans planted here 2,500 years ago for exactly this reason.
