Some nights feature torchlit processions - carriages moving through streets lined with burning torches, the clip-clop of hooves on snow, jingle of harnesses, glow of firelight in pure 19th-century immersion. Find carriage stands in Piazza Righi (€30-50 for 15-20 minutes) and request a ride during torchlit events. Ask the driver: 'Tell me about the Habsburg era here' - most know the history intimately.
