You're at 7200 feet elevation drinking wine from sea-level grapes. After via ferrata, enter rifugio exhausted and exhilarated. Order: 'Un bicchiere di Teroldego, per favore.'    Enrosadira (Ladin language: 'turning rose-colored') — the phenomenon where Dolomite limestone turns PINK at sunrise/sunset. The rock's magnesium composition reflects red wavelengths. It lasts 10-20 minutes MAX, then fades to purple, then gray. At Rifugio Brentei terrace OR any Brenta Dolomites rifugio with west-facing views, position yourself with Teroldego in hand by 30 minutes before sunset (timing is CRITICAL).
