Bodegas Valdespino - Oldest Solera in Jerez
Possibly the oldest bodega in Jerez, dating to 1264 when King Alfonso X rewarded knight Alfonso Valdespino for liberating Jerez from the Moors. The last company fermenting wines in wooden barrels. Their Fino Inocente passes through 10 criaderas (vs typical 2-3) for 10-year average age.
