Bodega Chacra: Where Sassicaia Meets Burgundy

Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, owner of Tuscany's legendary Sassicaia, founded Bodega Chacra in 2004. Working with Burgundy's Jean-Marc Roulot, Chacra has redefined New World Pinot Noir by reviving old vineyards in Rio Negro planted in the 1930s-1960s. This is where Italian royalty and Burgundy mastery create Argentina's greatest Pinot.

   Contact Bodega Chacra (bodegachacra.com) for appointments. The estate has vineyards from different eras: Treinta y Dos (1932), Cincuenta y Cinco (1955), and Sesenta y Siete (1967). Each named for its planting year. These are among the oldest Pinot vines in the New World.
