   This is the headquarters of the woman who beat Domaine de la Romanée-Conti at its own game. Walk through Vosne-Romanée village center to Domaine Leroy (Rue de la Fontaine, 47.1628, 4.9478) and find the stone gate with 'Domaine Leroy' sign. Lalou Bize-Leroy was ousted from DRC's board in 1992 for competing — she bought 25 hectares here and built biodynamic wines so good that in 2018, her Musigny Grand Cru (€30,000 per bottle) dethroned DRC's as the world's most expensive Pinot Noir. Stand at the gate and notice the care of the vines — biodynamic estates look different.
