   From San Quirico d'Orcia, take SP146 south. After 3km, look for a dirt pull-off on the right (GPS: 43.0747, 11.5614). The farmhouse is on a hill to the east. This is the classic view—don't drive to the farmhouse itself (private property).

   Capture the Iconic Shot

   The lone farmhouse against undulating hills.

   Use a telephoto lens (70-200mm or phone zoom) to compress the layers of hills behind the farmhouse. The best composition has the farmhouse on the right third, with the winding dirt road leading to it. Late afternoon light (2-3 hours before sunset) creates the best golden tones on the clay hills.
