History

Côtes du Jura received AOC status in 1937. The appellation stretches across varied terroirs throughout the Jura vineyard. Unlike the village-specific AOCs (Arbois, Château-Chalon, L'Étoile), Côtes du Jura encompasses the full regional diversity. Domaine Berthet-Bondet, organic since 2010, is benchmark for Vin Jaune style.
