Name evokes French "fleur" (flower) and "mont" (mountain), consistent with German name "Blumberg." Reputed favorite of Baron Lazare de Schwendi, who allegedly brought Tokay (Pinot Gris) from Hungary. Located in Ingersheim and Katzenthal. Not among original 24 Grand Crus; added 1992.
