The Zellenberg "mamelon" (hilltop) was a fortified medieval town. Name "Froehn" means "the constraint" - referring to demanding terroir. Jean Becker family has made wine here since 1610 - 13th generation. In 1988, their Muscat SGN achieved WORLD RECORD 26-degree potential alcohol. Grand Cru 1992.
