History

Greeks planted Muscat on Cap Corse around 570 BC - one of oldest continuous wine traditions in France. The "rappu" (Corsican name) was legendary across Mediterranean. Terraces carved into steep schist slopes, many accessible only by foot. AOC finally granted 1993, protecting this ancient tradition. Domaine Pieretti family has made Muscat here since 1769.
