History
Pope Calixtus II documented Quincy vineyards 1120 AD during visit. AOC granted August 6, 1936 - making Quincy France's second-ever Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, just months after Châteauneuf-du-Pape (May 1936). Ancient Cher River terraces give unique sandy-gravel terroir. Domaine Mardon, Domaine Trotereau, and Philippe Portier maintain quality.
