History
Medieval architecture preserved since 16th century with colorful half-timbered houses and cobblestones. Maison Hugel founded 1639, became one of Alsace's most renowned estates (exports 100+ countries). Hugel cellars contain "S. Caterine" barrel dated 1715 - Guinness world's oldest working wine cask. Dopff au Moulin family tree traces to 1574.
