La Tâche: The Other Monopole
DRC's 'other' monopole - 6 hectares producing ~20,000 bottles annually at $1,500+ each. La Tâche is often preferred by Burgundy insiders over Romanée-Conti itself - more complexity, slightly more affordable, and a deeper expression of Vosne terroir.

Stand at the Wall of Romanée-Conti
Romanée-Conti: 1.8 hectares. 5,000 bottles per year. $25,000 average bottle price. In 2018, a single bottle of 1945 DRC sold at Sotheby's for $558,000 - the most expensive wine ever auctioned. You cannot tour the domaine. But you can stand at the wall and touch the stones that guard the world's most valuable vineyard.

Vosne-Romanée: Taste What You Can Taste
DRC doesn't take visitors. But Vosne-Romanée has other excellent producers who do. Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg, Domaine Michel Gros, and the Vosne Tasting Club offer access to wines from the same magical terroir - often at 1/100th the price of DRC.
