Drinking and driving: Wine is RARE in Eastern Indonesia. Stock up in Labuan Bajo minimarts (limited selection, 200,000-400,000 IDR/bottle) before boat trips. Most liveaboards allow BYOB. Kelimutu area (Moni) has ZERO wine - bring your own from Labuan Bajo or Ende.

If it rains: Labuan Bajo has cafes and diving shops. If seas are rough, explore Labuan Bajo town, diving shops, sunset bars. Kelimutu in fog is disappointing - wait for clear morning.

Padar sunrise: Arrive viewpoint by 06:00 for pre-sunrise positioning. Shoot from LEFT trail fork for best three-beach angle. Drone shots incredible.
Komodo dragons: Keep distance, use zoom lens. Rangers can position you safely. Best light: 08:00-10:00 before heat sends dragons into shade.
Kelimutu: Sunrise golden hour 06:00-07:00. Colors most vivid in direct light. Bring wide-angle for all three lakes in frame.
Pink Beach: Underwater housing or GoPro for the coral. Beach shots at midday when pink sand is most visible.
Liveaboard sunset: Wine glass with Komodo islands silhouette - the quintessential shot.
