  • Don't forget water shoes for Erawan - rocks are slippery
  • Don't leave food out at floating bungalows - monkeys will raid
  • Don't expect wifi at Khao Sok floating bungalows - embrace disconnect

Worth stopping for

  • Khao Sok: Sunrise from floating bungalow deck. Mist on the lake is magical.
  • Elephant Nature Park: Get in the river during bath time for eye-level elephant shots
  • Erawan Tier 5-7: Bring underwater camera. The blue-green pools are stunning.
  • Sunrise paddle on Cheow Lan Lake - arrange with bungalow host
