Mérida Roman Theatre & Temple of Diana

Built by Agrippa in 16-15 BCE, the Roman Theatre still hosts 6,000 souls, while the adjacent Temple of Diana (actually dedicated to Augustus, not the goddess) rules Mérida's skyline with Corinthian columns of blue-veined marble—both UNESCO-listed pillars of Lusitania's grandeur.
