What to do there

TastingWein Wittig - Franconian Silvaner rebellion in beer countryIn a land obsessed with beer, Wein Wittig on Ludwigstraße stages a quiet wine rebellion. Franconian Silvaner from distinctive flat Bocksbeutel bottles, Austrian Grüner Veltliner from across the border, and South Tyrolean whites from over the Brenner Pass. Ask for the Würzburger Stein Silvaner - arguably Germany's most underrated white wine, from vineyards older than most Bavarian breweries.
