Tashkent Wine Route
Uzbekistan has no official wine route; this is ours. Tashkent city has no vineyards: the vines are in Tashkent Region, which had about 19,000 ha in 2024. In the city, Chorsu Bazaar sells fresh and dried grapes, dried fruit and spices under a blue-domed hall built in 1983–1990, a World Heritage building since July 2026. About 50 km north-east, Parkent district is the Region's wine district. There, Château Hamkor in Namdanak village dates itself to 1992 and receives visitors for a tour and tasting. In late August, Zarkent village in the same district holds the Uzum Sayli grape festival.
