Castro Marim Castle - Phoenician Trading Post
A hilltop fortress with archaeological evidence spanning Neolithic to medieval periods. The Iron Age settlement (7th-3rd c. BC) shows "intense relationships with the Mediterranean, with emphasis on Western Phoenicia." The on-site museum displays Phoenician-Punic amphorae and ceramics. Views over the Guadiana River and Spanish border.

Palacio da Galeria - Phoenician Sanctuary of Tavira
The Municipal Museum of Tavira occupies a restored palace with an extraordinary secret: beneath glass floor panels, you can see excavated Phoenician ritual pits from the 7th-6th centuries BC. This is one of the only documented urban Phoenician sanctuaries in Iberia, likely dedicated to Baal, the storm god.
